CCTV System

Common Problem

Major wiring task

Each analog camera necessitates a single video signal wire connecting to the DVR, along with two additional wires for power supply. In the case of a multi-story building project involving over 50 cameras, a substantial amount of wiring will be needed, leading to the installation of extensive trunking, cable trays, and incurring significant labor costs.

Delays in finding evidence during the search

Normally, you need to review recorded video frame by frame to locate evidence, a process that can be exhausting, inconvenient, and time-intensive. By the time you uncover the evidence, the wrongdoers might have already escaped.

Not enough storage

Many times, we only realize our valuable is missing weeks after it has been stolen. When we attempt to find video evidence, it has often been overwritten by more recent footage. We wish the video could be stored for a longer duration, but the cost of adding more HDD is expensive.

Solutions

Simplified wiring

MAG IP camera with built-in POE only requires a single Cat5/6 cable for video and power. The cable can be connected to the nearest network switch instead of all the way to NVR. This reduces a lot of wiring works thus reducing the labor cost. You can add IP camera easily to any nearby network point. This ensures the maximum scalability of your CCTV system as your business grows.

Faster evidence search

Can you recall every individual who entered your building yesterday? MAG IP CCTV utilizes face detection AI technology to automatically capture the faces of those who pass by. In the NVR, you simply click on the listed face to swiftly and efficiently playback the recorded video linked to that specific face. This method is faster, simpler, and more effective.

4x more storage space

MAG IP CCTV and NVR are using the latest Ultra 265 video compression technology. It is an enhanced version of common H.265 than can compress up to 4 times smaller than the earlier H.264 compression technology without reducing video quality. Record more with 4 times lesser HDD.

How it works?

All cameras can be either connected directly to a network video recorder (NVR) with built-in POE or via a POE switch to NVR for recording into a hard disk. User can live view/playback CCTV video from handphone or internet browser on a PC. Typically IP bullet camera is installed outdoor and IP dome camera is installed indoor.

1. IP CCTV Camera

  • Transmit data and power via network cable to NVR.

2. NVR

  • NVR recorders record videos from the network directly using Cat5 or Cat6 cable.

3. Network Switch

  • Network switch allows a single cable to provide both data connection and electric power to device.h tracking work hours for employees.
